Are you a self-identified woman running for public office – anything from local school board to the General Assembly? Do you support equality and reproductive freedom? If so, the Tennessee Women's Political Caucus can help with an endorsement.

What We
Offer

Social Media Toolkit

A social media toolkit helps our candidates maintain a consistent online presence, engage effectively with voters, and amplify their campaign's reach across platforms.

Training

Our endorsement package offers valuable training opportunities, including Women's Day on the Hill and our annual retreat, designed to equip candidates and advocates with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in leadership.

Networking Opportunities

Networking opportunities help expand connections, foster collaboration, and strengthen the influence of women across the state, enhancing visibility for our women and support for our issues.

Independent Expenditures

Alongside virtual and in-person fundraisers, we make independent expenditures such as mailers and printed materials to support candidates who align with our mission—always operating independently and without coordinating with any campaign.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Caucus’ endorsement, candidates must self-identify as women. They must demonstrate support for equal rights, reproductive freedom, and social equity and justice for women.

Process

To be considered for endorsement, candidates must complete the Endorsement Questionnaire.

Incumbents who have been previously endorsed by the Caucus must reapply for endorsement when they run for reelection. However, if you are running for the same position in which you have been previously endorsed, you are eligible to submit an abbreviated previously endorsed incumbent (PEI) form.

After the application date, the endorsement committee will recommend candidates to NWPCTN general membership, which then votes on endorsement.
