​Meet Dr. Jennifer Watson, President of the Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus and CEO of Limuless, LLC, a biotech startup focused on sustainable contamination testing. With a PhD in Neuroscience, Jennifer has combined her passion for science and politics to empower women in leadership through her work with Elect Black Women PAC and initiatives like Women’s Day on the Hill. She’s a trailblazer in both biotech and political advocacy, driving change and inspiring others.

Regina Clarke

Meet Regina Clarke, our dedicated Secretary for the Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus! With a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate in Ministry, Regina combines her theological education with hands-on community organizing experience to drive meaningful social change. Her work empowers communities through strategic outreach initiatives and advocacy, focusing on social justice and the well-being of all. Regina’s passion for fostering dialogue and creating positive impact is central to her role in our caucus and beyond.
Ruby Powell-Dennis
Vice President of Membership
Ruby Powell-Dennis is the Vice President of Membership for the Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus and the executive director of Elect Black Women PAC. With a background in education and electoral politics, Ruby is dedicated to uplifting underrepresented Black women in politics and empowering grassroots leaders to make lasting change. Her commitment to amplifying marginalized voices is a driving force for progress and transformation in our communities.
Temiika Gipson
Vice President of Political Planning
Temiika D. Gipson, Vice President of Political Planning for the Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus, is a dedicated public servant with 25 years of experience in Shelby County's court system and has served as Shelby County Court Clerk. She is also a certified John Maxwell coach, speaker, and author, committed to helping others achieve their goals. As a single mother and ordained minister, Temiika’s leadership and passion for community empowerment make her an inspiring figure in Memphis.
Hon. Brenda Gadd
Vice President of Public Relations
Hon. Brenda Gadd is a seasoned public policy strategist and political leader with a career spanning high-level roles in political campaigns, government, and advocacy. She has shaped key legislative outcomes, managed successful statewide campaigns, and co-founded a public affairs practice that supports nonprofits and businesses. Brenda’s expertise in government relations, coalition-building, and advocacy continues to impact Tennessee’s political landscape.

Middle Tennessee Caucus President
Teaka Jackson, President of the Middle Tennessee Women's Political Caucus, is a passionate advocate for community empowerment and social justice. With a background in law, mediation, and nonprofit leadership, Teaka has dedicated her career to serving vulnerable communities through disaster relief, youth mentorship, and political advocacy. Her leadership and commitment to empowering marginalized voices make her an invaluable member of the Tennessee Women's Political Caucus.
Hon. Sable Otey
West Tennessee Caucus President
Hon. Sable Otey, President of the West Tennessee Women's Political Caucus, is dedicated to promoting education, financial literacy, and extracurricular opportunities for students while prioritizing mental health support for educators. She’s committed to making a real difference in the lives of children, educators, and the Memphis community. Sable was recently elected to Memphis-Shelby County School Board for District 5, one of the largest school districts in the nation.
Deidre Malone
Immediate Past-President
Deidre Malone, Immediate Past President of the Tennessee Women's Political Caucus, is a passionate advocate for women's rights and leadership. Deidre currently serves as the President of the National Women's Political Caucus. With her experience as a certified political trainer, former elected official, and founder of The Carter Malone Group, Deidre has mentored and empowered women to pursue leadership roles and advocate for change in policy and communities. Her dedication continues to inspire women across Tennessee and beyond.
