About the Event
We invite you to join us for our "Advocacy in Motion: Mobilizing Action for Sexual Assault Awareness Month" event on Friday, April 25, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Tenn Lakes Brewing Company, 300 N Maple Street, Suite 4-135, Lebanon, TN 37086 (located in The Mill at Lebanon).
This event aligns with our mission to advocate for women’s rights, raise awareness and support policies that protect and empower women. It will provide a space to educate and explore how policy, advocacy, and community leadership can drive meaningful change. We’ll be joined by Loraine McGuire, Vice President of Community Relations at the Sexual Assault Center and, Senator Heidi Campbell who will discuss key legislative efforts like HB 0679/SB 0920 [http://www.capitol.tn.gov/Bills/114/Bill/HB0679.pdf].
Additionally, MIDTNWPC will be collecting feminine hygiene products to donate in support of a local Middle Tennessee sexual assault center. We encourage you to bring any items you wish to contribute.
