Back to School Gun Safety Discussion

This virtual event is open to all; you do not have to be a Moms Demand Action volunteer to attend. All community members are invited as well.

Our special guest will be Michelle Reising, PhD. We have an informative agenda that includes:

• Discussing how gun violence is impacting our children

• Reviewing two new Tennessee laws: one requiring student education about firearm safety and a second which allows felony charges for students threatening mass violence at school

• Discussing how to navigate conversations with kids about guns, shootings and lockdown drills at school
