Court Watch: Community Accountability in Action
Join CALEB for Court Watch and help bring transparency and accountability to Hamilton County’s legal system. Court Watchers observe General Sessions Court, where community members make their first appearance before a judge, to document proceedings and bear witness to how justice is administered.
Volunteers will be supported by an experienced Court Watch leader and do not need legal experience. Your presence in the courtroom helps challenge harmful practices, protect due process, and build collective power for meaningful criminal legal reform.
We'll share a 20 minute training virtually after you sign up to help prepare you for court watch.
Please know that you are welcome to join us at anytime during the indicated timeframe. You do not need to arrive at 8:15 am or stay until 12:30 pm. Show up as you can! We'll text everyone who signs up so they have a direct contact…
