About the Event
The Anderson County Commission is where many of the county’s biggest public decisions are made — budgets, appointments, policy decisions, spending priorities, and issues that shape daily life across Anderson County.
These meetings are public, and Civic Watch is a simple invitation to show up, observe, and stay informed.
County Commission typically meets on the third Monday of each month, with presentations beginning at 6:00 PM and the regular meeting starting at 6:30 PM. Public comment is held at the beginning of the regular meeting.
This is not a rally or organized action event. It’s civic participation through public observation.
What to expect: • Presentations beginning at 6:00 PM • Regular Commission meeting at 6:30 PM • Optional public comment at the beginning of the meeting • Observe discussion, votes, and public business • Take notes if you'd like • Learn how county government works in real time
