Election oversight works best when the public is paying attention.
The Anderson County Election Commission is a public body responsible for overseeing local election administration, approving key decisions, and conducting official election business in public meetings.
This Civic Watch event is a simple invitation for neighbors to attend, observe, and better understand how local election administration works. No speeches. No pressure. Just public participation in a public meeting.
If you’d like to attend with others, we’ll gather a few minutes beforehand and sit together.
What to expect: • Observe the meeting and follow the agenda • Take notes if you’d like • Learn how decisions are made • Public comment may be available depending on the meeting agenda, but participation is entirely optional
