Join us for a community canvass in South Memphis.
We’ll be knocking doors to invite neighbors out to our "Free the Vote Rally for Democracy" & cook out on April 18. This will be a family gathering with food, music, an egg hunt, and voter resources.
April 18 also happens to be the first Saturday of early voting, and we want to make sure our people are showing up, taking a stance, and making their voices heard at the polls.
In the precincts we’re canvassing, voter turnout has been as low as 34%—some of the lowest in all of Shelby County. That means decisions are being made without full community participation.
At the same time, these neighborhoods are dealing with real issues: from environmental concerns to corporate expansion like xAI and other developments impacting air, water, and land.
