About the Event
Community Education Series: Roots of American Disunity
In this multi-part series, led by historian and East Tennessee neighbor Dr. Jack Seitz, we will unpack the history of hope and disunity in post-Civil War America. Grounding in the history of these critical periods, we will discuss connections to present day disunity and lessons to be gleaned as we consider paths towards rebuilding trust in our own local communities.
This series will be part lecture and part community discussion. Snacks and coffee will be provided!
