What's up: Singers wanted for the new Memphis Resistance Choir! We're rehearsing for a powerful, free gospel concert in mid-November titled "Singing Our Hope," where we envision 300 voices coming together.
Why it matters: Directed by Crystal Jones, this event addresses the Black faith community's question: "Why did we stop singing?" This is about reclaiming joy, resistance, and community through music.
No experience needed—just bring your voice and your heart.
