About the Event
Join the Davidson County Democratic Party in the annual Nashville MLK Day March organized by the Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship!
*Participants will gather at Jefferson Street Missionary Baptist Church to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and proceed together down 28th Avenue North.
The march will culminate at Tennessee State University’s Gentry Center, serving as a powerful display of unity, reflection, and commitment to Dr. King's vision of equality and justice.
This meaningful procession invites the entire community to walk in solidarity, commemorating the enduring impact of the Civil Rights Movement and the ongoing pursuit of civil rights.
*We will meet at 8:45 a.m. to march as a group ahead of the 9 a.m. kick-off.
