In 1938, the Memphis Birth Control Association was formed to provide contraceptive counseling to women of limited means. These clinics were held three days a week at John Gaston Hospital. The organization was officially chartered on May 29, 1941 as the Memphis Association of Planned Parenthood, with Frances Coe as president. 

PPTNM has spent almost 85 years providing care for everybody who comes through our doors. Join us as we continue serving patients across Tennessee and North Mississippi for many years to come.
