About the Event

Join us for a powerful panel discussion centered on the current state of Black maternal health in the United States. This conversation will bring together advocates, researchers, and community leaders to explore systemic challenges, community-driven solutions, and the joy and resilience that continue to fuel this important movement.


Our panelists include Abiola Gittens-Petit, MPH; Tracy Chofor, MBS; Danielle C. Perry, MPH, CLD (CAPPA); Chantel Spinner; and Dr. Avareena Schools-Cropper, DrPH, MPH. The discussion will be moderated by Simone Nixon, MPH, and Nya Parker, Community Organizer at Planned Parenthood. This event is hosted by the Maternal Child Health National Network.


The meeting time starts 6pm-7pm EST / 5pm- 6pm CT/ 4pm-5pm PST.
