About the Event
Join TEP for the annual Advancing Equality Day on the Hill in the Cordell Hull Building (not in the Capitol). We will meet with our own legislators about bills of concern to the LGBTQ+ community.
***Coordinate your meetings with legislators through us at info@tnep.org to make sure there is no overlap. District captains (those who set up and lead meetings with their legislators) will be provided with a brief the weekend before Advancing Equality Day on the Hill. Other events include a press conference at 10am or 10:30, depending on whether anti-LGBTQ bills are being voted on that day and a lunch at 11.
