About the Event

A Community Conversation on Caste, Power, and Belonging

In recognition of Black History Month, YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee invites you to a special Stand Against Injustice in-person Lunch & Learn exploring Caste by Isabel Wilkerson and how hidden systems of hierarchy continue to shape belonging, power, and opportunity in our communities.

We’re honored to host Dr. David Ikard (Vanderbilt University) in conversation with YWCA CEO Sharon K. Roberson and Delanyo Mensah, Senior Manager of Social Justice & Advocacy, for a thoughtful, community-centered dialogue grounded in learning, reflection, and shared inquiry.

YWCA Main Office | 1608 Woodmont Blvd.

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Lunch provided
